Packages Include admission for 30 guests. Up to 80 guests are allowed in the Outdoor Pavilion at a cost of $8 per additional guest, paid at front counter upon arrival on day of party.
Parties are held on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays only (other days may be available by request). We offer three party packages to best serve your needs.
The zoo will not provide a bounce house attendant, and all activities must be monitored by parents/guardians.
Large haystack with hidden goodies. Goodies are provided by the party host on the day of party.
Please Contact Us to include add-ons at least 1 week before your party. They must be purchased at the front counter upon arrival on the day of your party. These activities may occur before, during, or after your party.

Yes- you may visit the zoo to tour party spaces during normal business hours. Advance notice is required. Please email birthdays@littleponderosazoo.com to set up your tour.
We do not limit the types of outside food you can bring in for your party. If you are having food delivered to the zoo, you must have a party representative prepared to retrieve and sign for the delivery at the front entrance. All food preparation must be done off site prior to the party. The zoo does not provide serving materials or facilities for preparation. Alcohol is prohibited. Refrigerator/freezer access is available in the Indoor Party Room, and use may be arranged with Outdoor Pavilion rental if space is available. If you need access to a refrigerator/freezer, please contact us prior to the party to ensure availability. If you are interested in having concessions available for purchase during your party, please contact us for availability.
Guests will check in at the front counter. Guests will be required to give the name of the birthday party host/child and must sign in. After sign in, they will be directed to the party space. All guests will need to sign in, even if they are zoo members.
Your guests receive Zoo Admission with your party package and may arrive as early as 10am when the zoo opens and stay as late as 5pm when the zoo closes. They will not gain access to the party space until the party begins.
You are able to tape or hang items in the party space to make it more personal. We just ask you to take down decorations when you leave. Please bring your own decorating supplies. We do not allow the use of tacks, nails, duct tape or packing tape. If significant damage is caused by decorations, you will be charged a fee of $50.
For the safety of our animals and for the good of the environment, we do not allow these items: balloons, confetti, straws, glitter, fireworks/poppers, or alcohol.
Birthday Party packages include admission for 30 guests. Up to 40 guests are allowed in the Indoor Party room. Up to 60 guests are allowed in the Outdoor Pavillion. Additional guests are priced at $8/guest and are paid for at the front counter on the day of the party. Additional guests (exceeding max number for each space) will have to pay full price zoo admission at the front counter. The guest count does include the birthday child and birthday party family, and any guests who may be zoo members. Children under 2 are not included in the guest count.
If you have selected a party package with the animal meet and greet, you will get to pick two of our ambassador animals for your encounter. We have a variety of reptile and small mammal animal ambassadors that a specifically trained for visiting guests during educational programming and birthday parties. These ambassadors will depend on staff and animal availability, and we cannot guarantee any specific species prior to the party day.
The Little Ponderosa Zoo and Rescue is a rain or shine organization, and zoo parties will run rain or shine. If you have booked the Outdoor Pavilion, relocation to the Indoor Party Room may be possible if it is not booked for another event. You may reschedule your party due to inclement weather one time, and will be asked to pay a $50 security deposit that will be refunded on the day of the party or applied to any additional party costs (additional guests, add-ons etc.)
